<p>Chester County, PA native John is a self-taught artist. Ten years in the pharmaceutical industry as a biochemist left him feeling lost and longing to re-connect with his childhood passion. In 2001 he decided to make a drastic career change and started a mural business, followed a few years later by the development of his own body of work in oils. The events of 9/11 served to strengthen his resolve and steer him in the direction of natural and peaceful subject matter. Influences range from contemporary plein- air artists to early-20th century American Impressionists.</p>
