Highly textured acrylic and watercolor painting on paper, mounted to a panel and covered with clear acrylic epoxy resin. The landscape features a field in the distant background, partially obscured by the close up twisty tendrils of bittersweet vine in which a bird (maybe a mocking bird) is resting, just enjoying the view.

Bio
Marie is a graduate of Moore college of Art & Design in Philadelphia. She began her career in the arts as a freelance sign painter. She enjoys experimenting with methods and materials and her current work frequently pairs watercolor or oil with acrylic resin. She participates in a variety of regional juried art shows as well as the annual Chester County Studio Tour.
