Tall Sawdust Fired Vase #1
Pinched out of one piece of clay. Burnished with white terra terra sigillatta. Color comes from iron and copper sulphate. Fired in a sawdust pit for 24 hours and then waxed with butchers wax. Results are always a surprise.

<p>Ann Suchecki has been a Potter for over 40 years and her work shown and collected nationally. She is inspired by the natural world and life around her. Always learning unusual techniques in both making and firing to produce one of a kind extraordinary work. The chance of failure has a relationship to the beauty of success.
