Jack Hayes

Jack is an award-winning master woodworker and wood turner. His custom woodshop is located in Hartfield VA. Each of Jack’s pieces are unique and possess a story. Jack does not cut down trees or purchase timber. Instead, in creating his art, he seeks out remnants of trees and creates his art from this natural state. These sources include roadside findings and charred wood. Jack provides a voice to each piece by using nature’s inherent characteristics in creating art with his lathe. Jack has had his work included and won awards in the juried exhibitions at the Woodcraft Spring Show and has been included in the District Art Gallery in Knoxville, Tennessee.
