Maryanne Buschini


Maryanne Buschini, paintings concern relationships of family and nature, memory, with a special interest in the history of immigration and labor. Her education includes art degrees: BFA from Kansas State University, MAT-Visual Arts from University of the Arts, continuing art studies includes art study and 6wk studio residency at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 2 years study at Barnes Foundation, painting workshops, etc. She has years of experience teaching art from public school, k-12, to teaching art in local colleges. Her work is included in local collections and have earned awards in juried shows; in 2019 received first place in the Artists Equity Spring Show at Goggleworks in Reading, solo exhibition of paintings at the Fireside Gallery at Main Line Unitarian Church in Devon PA, honorable mention in CE show at the Anne Bryan Gallery, Hamilton Building - PAFA, Cheltenham Arts Center; DaVinci Art Alliance (Philadelphia), Rye Arts Center (NY), Teresa Haag Gallery (Phoenixville), Maryanne lives and works in Malvern Pa, with husband John, they have 2 adult sons.
