Liz Finley

Liz is a long-time participant in the Notre Dame Academy Art Show, and mother of a graduate.  She most often paints ocean and beach scenes, local landscapes and golf scenes.  Liz participates in other local shows and recently started an Art Consulting business, "FinleyPeck Art Consulting" with her partner, Janice Peck, to help people find original art they love for their homes or offices. A student at Wayne Art Center and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Liz devotes her painting time to capturing beauty in nature by experimenting with tried techniques and more contemporary approaches. Lively brushwork and exciting color combinations are the hallmark of her work.   Liz traveled to southern France this summer to paint en Plein Air in various towns in the historic Dordogne region with local artist and coordinator, Elaine Lisle.   Several painting's in this year's show are from that trip and a side trip to Paris.
