Lisa Prinzo

Bio

Lisa has had a passion for art for as long as she can remember. Her first mentor was her father, encouraging her in his quiet way to draw whatever she could as a child. Most of Lisa’s current work is painted in oils but she enjoys using watercolors and pastels as well. In all her work, she tries to capture the subtleties of the subject matter, paying close attention to contrast. Lisa exhibits in several art shows annually, including Historic Yellow Springs, Flying Colors, and The Artists Circle, and takes part in several plein air events, including Plein Air Brandywine Valley. She is a board member of Healing Art Works, a nonprofit organization which places art in patient spaces to promote healing.
