Maggie Hagstrom

Maggie was born in Canada but raised here on the Main Line of Philadelphia. From the time she was little, she loved animals and began drawing and painting them from an early age. She attended the Philadelphia College of Art (now The University of the Arts) where she continued to pursue her love of painting. She works in watercolors and pastels but her favorite media are oils and acrylics. While raising her three children and juggling a full-time position as a buyer for a local pharmaceutical company, Maggie has continued painting with various art groups and private teachers as well as attending multiple classes at local art centers. She has had a solo show at the Bryn Mawr Hospital and has participated in other group exhibitions. She has donated her art to several charitable organizations both here in Pennsylvania as well as in Naples, Florida. Maggie is a member of the Wayne Art Center.
