Kathryn studied architecture at Miami University of Ohio, the University of Pennsylvania and the Architectural Association of London and has had a career as an architect in both Cleveland and Philadelphia. Now she uses canvas to interpret the unique character of the buildings and streetscapes of the Delaware valley and beyond. Her oil paintings express the play of light and shadow on the architectural forms that make up our towns and cities. Kathryn shows her artwork at numerous local galleries and has earned awards at several juried shows, including an award at the 2015 Plein Air Brandywine Valley show and the 2012 Chester County Art Association’s Plein Air Competition.
