Andy Lendway

Andy has an associate’s degree in Visual Arts from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He began his career as a staff illustrator for a t-shirt company, but after nine months he moved on to become a freelance illustrator whose clients included Kraft Foods, the NFL, NHL and the rock group KISS.  Andy also designed the popular “Save Our Farmlands” license plate in Delaware and the new “Animal Friendly” license plate. Since 1996, he has focused on painting, primarily applying acrylics on canvas boards which he gessoes to add texture to the pieces. Andy’s work has been shown in many solo and juried group exhibitions in Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and can be found in many private collections.
