Deborah Craley (Obee)



Bio

Debbie’s love for art has always been a large part of her life as evidenced by the time she spent during her youth sketching everything from landscapes to portraits of family and friends. While raising her children in Wayne, she started out painting theorems at classes of well-known theorem artist Dee Horn. She later enrolled in classes at the Wayne Art Center. Her teachers at the art center include Frances Galante, Michael Doyle, Karen Fogarty, Teresa DeSeve, Giovanni Casedei, Carol Kardon, Anne Graham and Georgiana Lesson. She has taken workshops through the WAC with Charlie Hunter, Ray Roberts, Mark Boedges, John Redmond and John Poon. Most recently, Debbie has become heavily involved and co-chaired the WAC Plein Air Annual Event. The event is a nationally known event that juries 32 talented artists, who come from all over the U.S. to participate in this popular event. Debbie has been involved in numerous Juried shows and Invitationals. Her passion to paint continues to grow and expand.
